My Story

I was born in Taiwan, raised in Singapore, and discovered my life's purpose in Malaysia.

I am deeply passionate about chiropractic as it has the power to transform one's life by alleviating pain, enhancing overall well-being, and optimizing quality of life. Over the last decade, I have been dedicated to serving the community by providing care to patients of all ages, including children and seniors, to help them achieve better health.

After graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Chiropractic from the International Medical University (IMU) in 2017, I embarked on my career as a chiropractor. The following year, I established the first Active Spine Care clinic in Danga Utama. In that same year, I pursued a Master's degree in Public Health at IMU, and completed the degree in 2019.

While pursuing my Master’s in Public Health, I had the opportunity to work with migrant workers in Malaysia. As a Chiropractor, by training, I was made aware of how difficult it is for vulnerable communities to receive proper consultation, diagnosis, and timely treatment. For example, migrant workers often sustain injuries during work. However, their understanding of chiropractic is lacking. In general, awareness of musculoskeletal health and the effectiveness of chiropractic remains lacking in Malaysia. I am motivated to close the gap, through the Active Spine Care family.

In my practice, my goal is to continue delivering superior care to my patients, raising public awareness, and educating the public about the importance of spinal health in promoting overall wellness.
